Professor Chen Jie, Party Secretary of Harbin Institute of Technology and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, led a delegation to visit The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 4 August. A meeting was held with Professor Dennis Lo, Vice-Chancellor and President of CUHK, Professor Isabella Poon, Provost of CUHK, and Professor Tsang Hon-Ki, Dean of Engineering, to discuss collaboration opportunities.
Professor Lo and Professor Chen exchanged views on extending current efforts. A collaboration agreement on academic exchange was signed, and new plans were explored in student interflow and summer programmes. This visit marked a new phase of collaboration in engineering and talent development, laying a solid foundation for further exchanges.
